Recent Projects
Coral Ocean
BMComposites was commissioned to engineer, build and install a new composite roof structure for the upper deck of the classic motor yacht Coral Ocean.
M5
BMComposites enlisted the services of renowned designer Adriana Monk who, by sympathetically working with the iconic lines of M5, created sleek, modern concepts for the helms and the three new hardtops.
Bullitt
To turn the ballast system concept design into a workable system comprising of four tank volumes with fully-automated pick up, transfer and discharge – all integrated into the current GA of the vessel.
Athos
SY Athos called upon BMComposites to engineer, manufacture and install 3 large carbon-fibre deck hatches as part of its award-winning refit at Huisfit in 2022.
Velsheda
In the on-going search for weight reduction within this class of racing classics, Velsheda approached BMComposites to replace the old plywood subdeck with its composite deck lining system. This is not only lightweight, but durable and also resistant to moisture ingress.
Polar Star
In 2015 BMComposites was commissioned to engineer, build and install a 60 square meter carbon fibre hardtop bimini for upper deck of the 63m Lurssen explorer yacht.
Galateia
To turn the concept ballast system design into a workable system comprising of 4 tank volumes, 2 per side with a fully automated pick up, transfer and discharge all integrated into the current GA of the vessel.
