BMComposites now possesses enhanced capabilities, focusing on providing a comprehensive service ranging from design consultancy and structural/composite engineering to CNC machining, construction, and installation. Employing state-of-the-art techniques such as rendering, scanning, modelling, and CNC cutting, we effortlessly create scale mock-ups and prototypes for R&D testing or pre-production analysis.

Facilities
Significant investments in cutting-edge technology have given us the ability to produce composite parts in a range of processes and to high temperature cure cycles.
We have three workshops in Palma, with many of our refit projects completed within STP, where our head office is located.
Our team of technicians are on-hand to meet with you in Mallorca or elsewhere in the world. We have a fleet of mobile workshops that can attend locations in the Balearics and Europe.
BMComposites draw on a trusted pool of external suppliers for larger items such as CNC mouldings and metal fabrication. These relationships give us the ability to take projects of any scale with full confidence of success.
Project Management
Project management at BMComposites involves a meticulous and all-encompassing approach, guiding clients through every phase of their project with expertise and efficiency. From inception to completion, our experienced team takes charge, providing adept oversight and coordination from the initial concept and design phases to the final installation and sign-off.

Design Floor
BMComposites has recently expanded its in-house design team to four full-time Designers and Naval Engineers, overseen by a management team of experienced Technical Project Managers. Using the latest 3D CAD development software including Rhino, Solidworks and Autodesk, plus its in-house high-accuracy 3D scanning, the BMC Design Team is able to create virtually new structural and cosmetic carbon-fibre/composite components that can be visualised and tested prior to manufacture.
The same 3D CAD data is then used to generate highly-accurate tooling in which the components are manufactured. The resulting parts require, if anything at all, a small amount of surface filling prior to painting, reducing weight and the costly fairing processes, which are required with aluminium fabrication. Additionally, by 3D scanning a yacht at the start of the project, the parts can be manufactured off-site and subsequently delivered to locations all over Europe for rapid installation, without the need for hot works and often even painting on board.
With its in-house Design department, BM Composites is able to offer a truly one-stop-shop for fully-managed composites refit and repair programmes for the Superyacht industry.
