BMComposites has engineered composite solutions for the superyacht industry since 2005, combining design, engineering, manufacturing and installation in one integrated in-house process, from first brief to final installation.
Our team of 40+ specialists has delivered more than 15,000 projects worldwide, across sailing yachts, motor yachts and superyachts, including work with performance sailing and racing teams.
Based in Palma de Mallorca, at the centre of the Mediterranean’s superyacht refit industry, we work directly with captains, owners, yacht managers and shipyards worldwide.
Design & Engineering
Every project starts with our in-house design and engineering department, which takes a project from concept development through to production-ready technical validation.
Using 3D CAD, high-accuracy 3D scanning and structural load analysis, we model and validate components digitally before manufacture, including reverse engineering of legacy parts. The same digital data generates our CNC tooling, so mould and component are engineered together rather than adapted afterwards.
Using 3D Scanning at the start of a project also lets us develop and manufacture components off-site, reducing on-site adjustment and vessel downtime once a part is ready to fit.

Design, engineering and composite manufacturing all run from one production facility in Palma de Mallorca, so the same team that engineers a component also builds it.
Using 5-axis CNC machined tooling, autoclave prepreg and vacuum resin infusion (VARTM), we produce cosmetic and structural components in-house, including large-format structural assemblies.
Our head office is based at STP Shipyard, and our project teams deploy directly to shipyards across the Mediterranean, Europe and internationally to support new build and refit work on site.

Our meticulous, all-encompassing approach to project management guides every project through each phase, with expertise and efficiency, from concept and design through to final installation and sign-off.
We collaborate closely with captains, owners and shipyards, drawing on an extensive skill set to coordinate scheduling, contractors and technical reporting. Deploying across the Mediterranean, Europe and internationally, we deliver swift, cohesive outcomes, on time and within budget.
